June 3, 1982
The City Council met in Special Session on the above
date at 6:00 PM with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding.
The following Councilmen and Officials were present:
Eb C. Girvin, Carl Doering, Marvin Lackey, Bill Con-
nor, William C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City
Secretary Jim Colbert and Public Works Director W. L.
Walden.

Award Bids -
Motion by Connor and seconded by Lackey to award the
Park Improvements
bid on Park Improvements to E1 Dorado Construction
Company and to add Alternate No. 11 - Automation of
the sprinkler system. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
Experimental
The council agreed that the contract between the City
Aircraft Assoc.
and the Experimental Aircraft Association for an air -
Contract
show was acceptable and could be executed.

Texas Aeronautics
Motion by Shell and seconded by Girvin to authorize

Commission -
execution of a grant agreement between the City and
Contract
the Texas Aeronautics Commission for runway lights
Agreement
at the airport. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Ordinance -
Motion by Connor and seconded by Girvin to approve on
Budget
first reading as an emergency an ordinance amending
Amendment
the annual budget for fiscal year 1981-1982 subject
to arithmetic corrections as needed. Motion carried
by unanimous vote. ( See Ordinance Book #4, Pages
309 and 310).

There being no further business, on a motion by
Connor and seconded by Shell the meeting adjourned.
