The City Council met in Special Session on the above date
at 5:00 p.m. with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The
following Councilmen and Officials were present: Eb C.
Girvin, Carl Doering, Lee Fulkes, Williams C. Shell, City
Manager Leo Wood, Assistant City Manager W. L. Walden and
City Secretary Jim Colbert. Councilman Atkinson was absent.
Motion by Shell and seconded by Girvin to approve on second
and final reading an ordinance providing a rate increse for
Lone Star Gas which will generate $80,567.00 per year in
additional revenues. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See
Ord. Book #4, Pages 255-261).
Motion by Doering and seconded by Fulkes to approve on
second and final reading an ordinance abandoning an easement
across Lot 18, Block 3, Seranada East II. Motion carried by
unanimous vote. (See Book #4, Pages 262-264).
No action was taken on this matter.
There being no further business, in a motion by Shell and
seconded by Fulkes the meeting adjourned.
