November 10, 1981 The City Council met in regular session on the above date at 7:00 p.m. with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The following Councilmen abd Iffucuaks were oresebtL Eb C. Girvin, Carl Doering, Joe Atkinson, Lee Fulkes, William C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, Assistant City Manager W. L. Walden, and City Secretary Jim Colbert. Motion by Shell and seconded by Atkinson to approve the minutes of a City Council meeting held October 13, 1981. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Motion by Atkinson and seconded by Fulkes to approve General Fund bills in the amount of $19, 406.68 and Utility Fund Bills in the amount of $375,523.97. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Resolution - Motion by Atkinson and seconded by Fulkes to approve a TAC Grant resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a grant agreement with the Texas Aeronautics Commission. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book 464, Pages 251 and 252). Final Plat - Motion by Shell and seconded by Doering not to approve or River Hills II disapprove until septic tank standards have been developed. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Preliminary Plat - No action was taken on this matter. River Hills III Resolution - Motion by Fulkes and seconded by Atkinson to approve a Vote for Candidate resolution casting 95 votes to Kerney Wolf for the Board frol Williamson of Directors of the Williamson County Apppraisal District. County Tax Appraisal Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Book 464, Page District 253). Appointments to Mayor Doerfler, with the consent of the City Council, appointed Historical Preservation Jack Webernick, Albert Evans, Neil Wilkerson and Genevieve Committee Atkins to the Historical Preservation Committee. Ordinance - Motion by Shell and seconded by Atkinson to approve on second Penalty and Interest and final reading, an ordinance establishing penalty and Rates on Delinquent interest rates on delinquent taxes. Motion carried by Taxes, 2nd reading unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book 464, Page 254). Advertise for Bids Motion by Shell and seconded by Girvin to authorize the on Aerial Bucket City Manager to advertise for bids for an aerial bucket for the Electric Department. Water Study No action was taken on this matter. Intergovernmental Motion by Atkinson and seconded by Shell to authorize the Agreemtn with Mayor to execute an intergovernmental agreement between the County City and County for road work. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 19 Executive Session At this time Mayor Doerfler announced that the City Council would meet in executive session under Artice 6252-17, Section 2 (b) (3), V.T X.S. After the executive session, the meeting was again opened to the public. Adjourn There being no further business, on a motion by Shell and seconded by Fulkes, the meeting adjourned. J n C.
