The City Council met in regular session on the above date at 7:00 p.m.
with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The following Councilmen and
Officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Lee Fulkes, Carl Doering, City
Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Jim Colbert, Building Official Tom
Sams, Airport Manager Wayne Truxal) and City Attorney Joe B.McMaster.
Monthly Minutes Motion by Doering and seconded by Girvinl- to approve the minutes of
and Reports the City Council meetings held on June 9, 1981 and June 23, 1981.
Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Approve bills Motion by Fulkes and seconded by Girvin to approve General Fund bills
in the amount of $22,726.67 and Utility Fund bills in the abount of
$372,653.13. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Preliminary RP Motion by Doering and seconded by Fulkes to aWrove the Preliminary
Development Plan RP Development Plan for the Barbarosa with the following conditions:
(� The Barbarosa (1) the roadway from Leander Road to the development is to be tested
for conditions and construction standards, (2) a letter shall be obtained
Q from the Highway Department stating they have no objection to the plan,
Q (3) all easements are agreeable to the City and the Developer, (4) the
City is given the time necessary to relocate utility lines as necessary.
Motion carried by unanimous vote.

No action was taken on this matter.
Motion by Doering and seconded by Girvin to grant a side building line
and easement variance to four feet on the west property line on lot 6,
block D, Williams VI. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Motion by Doering an?l'seconded by Girvin to grant a side building line
variance to 5.3 feet on the sou th property line of Lot 24, Bloak B,
San Gabriel Heights V. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Motion by Doering and seconded by Girvin to grant a side building line
and easement variance to 6.8 feet on the ease property line of lot 25,
Block B, San Gabriel Heights V. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Motion by Fulkes and seconded by Girvin to approve on first reading
an ordinance annexing Thousand Oaks III and adjacent property. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
ETJ Request Motion by Girvin and seconded by Doering not to release a portion of
property within City ETJ to Round Rock. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.

Resolution- Motion by Doering and seconded by Fulkes to approve a
McKenney & Moore resolution authorizing McKinney and Moore to operate an
Aircraft Sales & aircraft sales $ maintenance facility at the Airport. Motion
Maintenance carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book 04, Page 210).
Resolution - Motion by Fulkes and seconded by Doering to approve a
Advertise for bids - resolution authorizing the City Manager to advertise for
Fuel tanks at Airport bids on construction of a fuel storage and dispensing
facility at the airport. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Ron Means - No action was taken on this matter.
Taxi Permit
Advertise for bids - Motion by Fulkes and seconded by Gi.rvin authorizing the
Gas and Oil City Manager to advertise for bids on gas and of I for the
City. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Adjourn There being no further business, on a motion by Fulkes and
seconded by Doering, the meeting adjourned.
