The City Council met in special session on the above date
at 7:00 PM with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The
following Councilmen and Officials were present: Eb C.
Girvin, Carl Doering, Lee Fulkes, William C. Shell,
City Manager Leo Wood, Assistant City Manager W. L.
Walden, and City Secretary Jim Colbert.
Preliminary RP Motion by Fulkes to approve the preliminary RP Plan for the
Development Plan- Barbarosa, with all questions on easements to be settled before
The Barbarosa the Final Development Plan is approved. Motion died for a
lack of second.
No further action was taken on this matter.
Preliminary Plat- No action was taken on this matter.

Section II
Appointment- Mayor Doerfler, with the consent of the Council, appointed
Library Board Gertrude Satterfield to fill the unexpired term of Florence
Harper on the Library Board.
Resolution - Motion by Doering seconded by Shell to approve a resolution
Experimental allowing the Experimental Aircraft Association to hold a
Aircraft Association Fly -in at the Municipal Airport on June 26, 27 and 28, 1981,
provided the issuance is approved by the City Attorney. Motion
carried by unanimous vote. (See Book 04, Page 183).
Resolution- Potion by Doering seconded by Shell to approve a resolution
South Loop requesting assistance from Williamson County in the construction
of a South Loop. Motion carried by unanimous vote. ( See
Ord. Book 14, Page 184).
Miscellaneous
ATTEST
The Council gave the Airport Manager permission to advertise
for bids for a fixed base operator at the Airport.
There being no further business, on a motion by Shell and
seconded by Fulkes, the meeting adjourned.
