HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 02.10.1981 CC-R484 February 10, 1981 The City Council met in regular session on the above date at 7:00 pm with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The following Councilmen and Officials were present: Lee Fulkes, Harry Gold, William Shell, Carl Doering, Ken Olson, City Manager Leo Wood, Assistant Manager W. L. Woldern, City Secretary Jim Colbert, Building Official Tom Sams, and Renee Hanson. Monthly Minutes Moi i' -on by Shell seconded by Doering, to approve the minutes and Reports of a City Council meeting held January 13, 1981. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Approve Bills Motion by Gold seconded by Fulkes to approve General Fund bills in the amount of $21,356.88 and Utility Fund bills in the amount of $307,833.57. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Open Bids - No action was taken on this matter. Property Exchange Steve McIntire No action was taken on this matter. Ordinance - Motion by Doering seconded by Shell to approve on first Airport Board reading an ordinance increasing the number of Airport Board members from three (3) to five (5) and revising the residency requirements 16f the Airport Board to include residents of the Corporate City Limits or the Extra Territorial Jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown. Voting went as follows: Ayes: Doering, Shell, Olson. Noes: Fulkes. Abstain: Gold. Motion carried. Appointments: Airport Board No action was taken on this matter. Resolution - Motion by Olson seconded by Shell to adopt a resolution Mater Plan adopting the Georgetown Growth and Development Guide as an amendment to the 1976 Comprehensive Plan. Motion carried by unanimous vote. ( See Ord. Book 04, Page 105). Ordinance - No action taken on ordinance. Motion by Doering seconded by Subdivision Shell to authorize notification of developers of changes in Procedures administrative procedures. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Ordinance - No action was taken on this matter. Zoning 1st reading Final Plat - Motion by Shell seconded by Fulkes to approve a final plat Quail Meadow IV of Quail Meadow IV and requiring that no building permits shall be issued in the subdivision until all curb and gutter required in all developments of Harold Parker is installed. Motion carried by unanimous vote. ( See Ord. Book 04 - Page 106). Final Plat Motion by Olson seconded by Fulkes to approve a final plat Quail Meadow V of Quail Meadow V and requiring that no building permits shall be issued in the subdivision until all curb and gutter required in all developments of Harold Parker is installed. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book 04, Page 107). 48PW Ordinance - Motion by Doering seconded by Fulkes to approve on first reading Annexation of an ordinance annexing Quail Meadow IV Subdivision. Motion Quail Meadow IV carried by unanimous vote. 1st reading Ordinance - Motion by Olson seconded by Fulkes to approve on first reading an Annexation of ordinance annexing Quail Meadow V Subdivision with RM -1 zoning Quial Meadow V and adaiacent property with RS zoning. Motion carried by unanimous 1st reading vote. Ordinance - Motion by Doering seconded by Shell to approve on first reading an Rezoning at ordinance rezoning property along University Ave. between Hart and University Ave Timbert streets from RS to RM -3 and from RM - 3 to C-1, and between Hart and . providing that there shall be no entrance from the property onto Timber Streets University Ave. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 1st reading Ordinance - Motion by Fulkes seconded by Olson to approve on first reading CZ Rezoning at an ordinance rezoning property at 311 Main Street from RS to RM3. 311 Main St. Voting went as follows: Ayes: Fulle s, Olson, Gold and Shell. 1st reading Abstain: Doering. Motion carried. V V RP Development No action was taken on this matter. P Ian for the Barbarosa Preliminary Plat - No action was taken on this matter. North Fork Park Ordinance- Motion by Doering seconded by Shell to approve on first reading Sewer Funds as an emergency an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to apply for financial assistance from the Texas Water Development Board. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book 04, Pages 108 and 109). Ordinance - Motion by Shell seconded by Olson to approve on first reading an Annexation of ordinance providing for the annexation of land along the MKT MKT, Ist Railroad. Motion carried by unanimous vote. reading Election Order Motion by Doering seconded by Fulkes to approve the Election Order setting a time, place and date to the City Officers Election. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book 04, Pages 110 and 111). Powerline Motion by Shell seconded by Gold to authorize the City Manager to Easement proceed with procurement of a powerline easement and road easement from the substation on U.S. 81 to Seranada. Motion carried by unanimous vote. At this time, Mayor Doerfler announced that the Council would meet in Executive Session under Artice 6252-17, Section (2)(6)(3), V.T.CS. 486 Following the Executive Session the meeting was again opened to the public.
