The following Councilmen and Officials were present: William Shell, Lee Fulkes, Harry Gold, Carl Doering, Ken Olson, City Manager Leo Wood, Assistant City Manager W. L. Walden, City Secretary Jim Colbert, City Building Official Tom Sams, and Renee Hanson. Monthly Minutes Motion by Gold Seconded by Shell to approve the minutes of and Reports Council Meetings held on August 12, 1980, August 19, 1980, and August 25, 1980. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Approve Bi I Is Motion by Olson seconded by Doering to approve General Fund bills in the amount of $28,571.35 and Utility Fund bills in the amount of $455,592.16. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Taxi Permit Motion by Shell seconded by Olson to approve a Taxi Permit for Mike Berryman pending approval of City Attorney and com- pliance with all ppplicable City Ordinances. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Preliminary Plat - Quail Meadow IV Annexation- Quail Meadow IV Preliminary Plat - Interstate Bus. Park No action was taken on this matter. Final Plat - City Cemetery, Motion by Doering seconded by Shell to approve a Final 1980 Addition Plat on City Cemetery, 1980 Addition. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Vacation and Final Motion by Fulkes seconded by Olson to approve vacation Plat - Briarwood of Final Plat on Briarwood subdivision and to approve amended Final Plat on Briarwood subdivision. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Special Permit Motion by Doering seconded by Shell to approve a special 1003 Walnut permit for a day care center at 1003 Walnut, subject to yearly review. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Resolution -Authorize Motion by Shell seconded by Gold to approve a resolution Co Mayor to amend Tejas authorizing the Mayor toamend the City-Tejas Avionics Air - "r Airport Lease port land lease by addingkone hundred by two hundred foot O section to the north for a total of sixty thousand square feet. Motion passed by unanimous vote. (See Book 04, Page 65). U U City Engineer Motion by Doering seconded by Shell to authorize Bryant- Curington, Inc., to begin work on the plans and specifications for the new sewer treatment plant under Step 2 of an EPA Grant. Voting went as follows: Ayes: Olson, Doering and Shell. No: Gold, and Fulkes. Motion passed.
