The City Council met in special session on the above date at
6:30 o'clock p.m. with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The
following councilmen and officials were present: Lee Fulkes,
Harry Gold, Carl Doering, Kenneth Olson, City Manager Leo
Wood, City Secretary J im Colbert, Assistant City Manager W. L.
Walden, and Building Official Tom Sams. Others present were:
Paul Williams and Renee Hanson.
Ordinance- Motion by Gold seconded by Olson to pass on first reading
Setting 1980 an emergency ordinance setting the 1980 tax rate at 89t on
Tax Rate each $100.00 valuation of property. Motion passed by unanimous
vote. (See Ord. Book #4, Page 58).
Ordinance- Motion by Doering seconded by Gold to pass on first reading
Adopting an emergency ordinance adopting the 1980-1981 fiscal year
1980-1981 budget. Motion passed by unanimous vote.

Financial No action was taken on this matter.

Lending Motion by Gold seconded by Olson to approve amendments
Institution- to a contract between Tejas Avionics and the City. Motion
City Agreement passed by unanimous vote.
Water No action was taken on this matter.

There being no further business, on a motion by Gold
seconded by Fulkes, the meeting was adjourned.
