HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 05.24.1979 CC-S41 May 24, 1979 The City Council met in special session on the above date at 4:00 p.m. with Mayor John Doerfler presiding. The following council men and officials were present: William Shell, Kenneth Olson, Lee Fulkes, Harry Gold, Carl Doering, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, and Community Development Coordinator Jim Colbert. Others present were:, D. A. Mills, John Walters, Connie Rogers, Brent Rogers, Hank Carver, Ginevieve Atkin, Renee Hanson, Mark Mitchell and Raye M. Coy. Petition -Henry Motion by Gold and seconded by Fulkes to approve a petition from Peaslee-City ETJ Henry Peaslee requesting that the City of Georgetown extend its extra- territorial jurisdiction to include all of that certain 106.26 acres of land out of the Key West Irrigation Co. Survey, Abstract No. 711 described i n Volume 483, page 170 of the Deed Records of Wi I I iomson County, Texas. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Ordinance -Extending Motion by Shell and seconded by Doering to approve an Ordinance City ETJ-Henry extending the City of Georgetown extraterritorial jurisdiction to include Peaslee the 106.26 acres of land owned by Henry Peaslee as described above. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Ordinance- Motion by Gold and seconded by Olson to approve an Ordinance Vacating Alleys on second and final reading vacating and abandoning an alley which lies between Blocks 13 and 14 and Block 13 and 16 of the Southside Addition. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Garbage Rate- Motion by Shell and seconded by Gold to approve on second and Ordinance final reading an Ordinance setting new Garbage Rates and Service Policies. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Sewer Rate- Motion by Gold and seconded by Shell to approve on second and Ordinance final reading an Ordinance setting new sewer rates. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Amendment- Motion by Gold and seconded by Fulkes to approve on second. and Subdivision final reading an Ordinance amending Section 4.01 of the Subdivision Ordinance Ordinance.
