Called City Council Meeting
The City Council met in special session on the above date at 4:00 p.m.
with Mayor John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen and officials
were present: Kenneth Olson, Lee Fulkes, Harry Gold, Carl Doering, William
Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Inspector
Tom Sams and Community Development Coordinator Jim Colbert. Others
present were: Vivian Wood, Leon Schrenk and Ernest Lincoln.
Chamber of
Vivian Wood requested that booths be allowed to be placed on Main
Commerce
Street between 7th and 8th Streets and that the streets on the north, south
and east sides of the square be blocked off for traffic on June 25th, 26th and
27th beginning at 6:00 p.m. The request was granted.
Resolution-LCRA
Motion by Shell and seconded by Gold to adopt a Resolution changing
Exhibit
Exhibit "A" of the LCRA contract. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Petition -Extend
Motion by Gold and seconded by Olson to approve a petition from
City ETJ-
Williamson County requesting that the City of Georgetown extend its extra -
County Road 176
territorial jurisdiction to include County Road 176 from RM2243 to County
cr+
Road 175. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Ordinance -Extending
Motion by Gold and seconded by Doering to approve on first and final

reading, as an emergency, an Ordinance extending the City of Georgetown
Co. Rd. 176
extraterritorial jurisdiction to include all of County Road 176. Motion carried
by unanimous vote.
At this time Mayor Doerfler announced that the council would meet in
Executive Session under 6252-17, 2(b), 1(3) VTCS.
After the Executive Session Mayor Doerfler opened the council meeting
to the public.
There being no further business on a motion by Fulkes and seconded by
Shell the meeting adjourned.
