Called City Council Meeting
The City Council metin special session on the above date at 3:00 p.m.
with Mayor John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen and
officials were present: Carl Doering, William Shell, Lee Fulkes, Harry
Gold, Kenneth Olson, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L.
Walden, Community Development Coordinator Jim Colbert and City
Attorney Joe McMaster. Others present were Quentin Hix, Bill Smith
and John Walters.
Peti tion -Arthur Motion by Shell and seconded by Gold to approve the petition from
Faubion-City ETJ Arthur W. Faubion, et, al, to include that certain 665.25 acre tract of
land out of the Joseph Thompson Survey, Abstract No. 608, described in
Volume 547, Page 442, in the City of Georgetown extraterritorial Juris-
diction. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Ordinance -Extending Motion by Gold and seconded by Olson to approve on first and final
City ETJ-Arthur reading, as an emergency, an Ordinance extending the City of Georgetown
Faubion Tract extraterritorial jurisdiction to include all of that certain 665.25 acre tract
of land out of the Joseph Thompson Survey, Abstract No. 608, as described
in Volume 547, Page 442, of the deed records of Williamson County,
Texas. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Lone Star Gas Representatives from Lone Star Gas Company presented a rate increase
Rate Increase request to the City Council. The rate increase was discussed, but no action
was taken on the matter.
There being no further business on a motion by Shell and seconded by
Gold the meeting adjourned.
