The City Council met in special session on the above
date with Mayor John Doerfler presiding, at 4:00 p.m.
The following councilmen and officials were present: Harry
Gold, Kenneth Olson, William Shell, Carl Doering, Lee Fulkes,
City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City
Inspector Tom Sams, Community Development Coordinator Jim
Colbert and City Attorney Joe McMaster.
petition- Motion by Gold and seconded by Olson to accept a petit -
TCS -City ion from Texas Crushed Stone requesting the City of George-
ETJ town to extend its extraterritorial jurisdiction to include
a 500 foot wide strip of land lying along and adjacent to
the south right-of-way line of FM 2243. Said 500 foot strip
beginning at the northwest corner of the A. C. Weir tract
and continuing to the northeast corner of the Arthur
Faubion tract. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Ordinance- Motion by Gold and seconded by Fulkes to approve on
Include first and final reading, as an emergency, an Ordinance
TCS- extending the City of Georgetown extraterritorial juris-

U by Texas Crushed Stone. Said land beginning at the north-
west corner of the A. C. Weir tract and continuing to the
northeast cornerof the Arthur Faubion tract. Motion carried
by unanimous vote.
At this time Mayor Deorfler announced that the council
would meet in Executive Session under Article 6252-17
(Section 2 (b) (3) .
After the Executive Session the council meeting was
again opened to the public.
There being no further business on a motion by Gold
and seconded by Shell the meeting ajourned.
