Called City Council Meeting
January 30, 1979
The City Council met in special session on the above date at 4:14 p.m. with
Mayor John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen and officials were
present: Carl Doering, Lee Fulkes, William Shell, Kenneth Olson, Harry Gold,
City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Inspector Tom
Sams, and Community Development Coordinator Jim Colbert. Others present
were: Pete Bouffard, Don Bizzell, Charles Forbes, Tommy Magness, Andy
Prude, Jim Caskey, Fred Hilgerman, Wilbur Calloway, Carl Liddell and
Gordon Davis.
Transportation Don Bizzell, representing the Transportation Committee, reported on
Committee meetings that had been held and plans for the future transportation in and
Report around Georgetown.
Airport Hanger Motion by Shell and seconded by Gold to approve on first reading an
Rent Ordinance establishing month to month leasing rates for city owned hangers,
Ordinance aircraft tie down lots and buildings at the Georgetown Municipal Airport.
Motion carried by unanimous vote.
There being no further business on a motion by Gold and seconded by
Olson the meeting adjourned.
