Called City Council Meeting
The City Council met in special session on the above date at 4:OOp.m.
with Mayor John C. Doerfler presideing. The following councilmen and
officials were present: Carl Doering, William Shell, Harry Gold, Kenneth
Olson, City Manager Leo Wood and City Secretary W. L. Walden. Others
present were: Fred Jay, L. A. Rutledge, Melissa Carroll, Stewart
Lambert and other interested parties.
Bids -Swimming Pool & The following bids were opened on the new swimming pool and recreat-
Recreational Facility ional facility:

Gary Pools $62,200.00 $334,000.00
Leroy Psencik $68,580.00 $333,393.00
No action was taken at this time until further study could be made on the
bids.
Rezoning -202 Austin Motion by Shell and seconded by Gold to approve on first reading
Avenue an Ordinance rezoning the property at 202 South Austin Avenue from RM -3
Residential Multiple to C-1 Local Commercial. Motion carried by uanimous
vote.
Rezoning -510 West Motion by Olson and seconded by Gold to approve on second and
University Ave. final reading an Ordinance rezoning tle property at 510 West University
Avenue from C-1 Local Commercial to C2A Commercial First Height.
Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book 03 - Page #216-
217)
Rezoning -Lot 5, Motion by Shell and seconded by Gold to approve on second and final
Blk. 11 -Quail reading an Ordinance rezoning Lot 5, Block 11 of Quail Meadow III from
Meadow III C-1 Local Commercial to C2A Commercial First Height. Motion carried
by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page 0217)
Resolution -Williams Motion by Gold and seconded by Olson to adopt a Resolution setting
V -Annexation a date, time and place for a public hearing concerning the annexation of
Public Hearing Williams V Subdivision. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance
Book 03 - Page 0218)
There being no further business on a motion by Gold and seconded
by Doering the meeting adjourned.
