Home My WebLink AboutMIN 02.21.1978 CC-S3 6.19 February 21, 1978 Called City Council Meeting The City Council met in special session on the above date at 4:00 p.m. with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The following councilmenand officials were present: Harry Gold, D. W. Scott, William Shell, Kenneth Olson, Carl Doering, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Inspector Tom Sams and Community Development Coordinator Jim Colbert. Others present were: Melissa Carroll and Don Bizzell. Preliminary Plat- Motion by Shell and seconded by Scott to accept the preliminary plot of Highland Meadows Highland Meadows as presented without any variances. City Manager Leo Wood and Mayor Doerfler are to work with Mr. Hornsby on cost of water main from Sanaloma to the Airport entrance. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Final Plot- Motion by Shell and seconded by Gold to adopt a Resolution approving Rabbit Hollow the final plat of Rabbit Hollow Subdivision. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book 03 - Page +212) Rezoning Ordin- Motion by Gold and seconded by Olson to approve on second and f inal e�+ ance-Quail reading an Ordinance rezoning all of Lot 1 and part of lots 2, 3, and 4 of Block 0 Meadow III 10 of Quail Meadow III, from RS to C1. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page 1214-215) V Explosive Motion by Gold and seconded by Shell to approve on second and final Ordinance reading an Ordinance providing for controls on the use of explosives in the city and for a distance of 5,000 feet outside of the city. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #213-214) Advertise for Motion by Doering and seconded by Shell to authorize City Manager Leo Bids -Swimming Wood' to advertise for bids on the new swimming pool and recreational facilities. Pool Bids to be opened on the 21st day of March, 1978 at 4:00 p.m.. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
