HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 12.21.1976 CC-S333 December 21, 1976 The City Council met in special session on the above date with Mayor John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present: Harry Gold, J. D. Wininger, William Shell, D. W. Scott, Carl Doering, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden and City Water Supertendent Rex Wooten. Others present were: Bill Schott, Jim Cole, Bob Stanton, Curtis Adrian and Donna Jay. Bid -Low Water The appointed committee of Doering, Scott and Wood recommended that Bridge Extension the City Council accept the low bid of $16,650.00 from Leroy Psencik Contractor for the low water bridge extension to be built in San Gabriel Park. Motion by Gold and seconded by Shell to accept the bid. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Report & Study- After hearing reports from City Engineer Bill Schott as to type of storage 2,000,000 gal, tank, location, etc., and Financial Advisor Curtis Adrian as to manner of financing, water storage the Council called a special meeting to be held at 4:00 p.m., December 24, 1976 tank to further discuss the matter. Historical Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold to appoint Jack Webernick fir+ Commission to the Historical Commission for a term of 3 years beginning October 13, 1976. Appointment Motion carried by unanimous vote. V BOR Motion by Doering and seconded by Scott approving a Resolution authorizing V Resolution certain city officials to act on behalf of the City of Georgetown in dealing with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #115) There being no further business on a motion by Shell and seconded by Wininger the meeting adjourned. c. J n C.
