The City Council met in special session on the above date at 4:00 p.m.
with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The following councilman and officials
were present: Harry Gold, William Shell, Carl Doering, D. W. Scott, City
Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden and City Attorney Joe McMaster.
Others present were Bill Smith, Buddy Adams and Donna Jay.
Lone Star Gas Motion by Carl Doering and seconded by William Shell to approve a
Rate Increase Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Georgetown to give notice
Suspension under Article 1446c, 43(d) to Lone Star Gas Company to suspend operation
of a schedule of rates and tariffs increase pending determination by the City
of Georgetown concerning the schedule of rates proposed by Lone Star Gas
Company. (See Ordinance Book 03 - Page #111)
There being no furhter business on a motion by Shell and seconded by
Doering the meeting adjourned.
