HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 09.22.1976 CC-S3 2 G Open Bids -Neighbor- hood Center September 22, 1976 The City Council met in special session at 4:00 p.m. on the above date with Mayor John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present: Harry Gold, Carl Doering, William Shell, D. W. Scott, J. D. Wininger, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Inspector Tom Sams and City Attorney Joe McMaster. Others present were: Buddy Adams, Donna Jay, Joel Wilkinson, Don Bizzell, Ken Rehler, Jim Rehler, Riley Robbins and Jim Colbert. The following bids were opened on the Neighborhood Center: Industrial Laminates Corp. $35,613.00 Ray & Neal Lubinski $58,000.00 Structure Contractors $54,200.00 Motion by Shell and seconded by Doering to approve the low bid of $35,613.00 from Industrial Laminates Corp. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Greenridge Motion by Shell and seconded by Scott to approve the preliminary plat Preliminary of Greenridge Subdivision with the following changes: Plat (a) A dedicated street easement connecting the ends of Greenridge Road and Shepherd Road. (b) Special wording in the dedication as to street easements. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Lot 5 -Block 5- After reading a letter from City Attorney Joe McMaster stating that Country Club V the Zoning Ordinance did in fact take precedence over the deed restrict- ions on Country Club Unit V, the City Council returned the request to build a duplex on Lot 5 -Block 5, Country Club V to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Final Plat- Motion by Shell and seconded by Wininger to approve a Resolution Tonkowan Subdivision approving the final plat of Tonkowan Subdivision. Motion carried by unaimous vote. Annexation -San Motion by Shell and seconded by Scott to approve an Ordinance on Gabriel Heights IV second and final reading annexing San Gabriel Heights Section IV into the City of Georgetown. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordin- ance Book 0 3 - Page +102-103) Safeway Electrical No one appeared in behalf of Safeway Stores. The Council agreed Rate to leave their electrical rate as it now is. Report -Hike and Bike After a report from the committee of Doering, Scott and Wood; Bids Doering made a motion which was seconded by Scott to accept the bid of $34,537.00 from Clearwater Construction on the Hike and Bike Trail.
