The following councilmen and officials were present: J. D. Wininger, Carl Doering, D. W. Scott, Harry Gold, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Inspector Tom Sams and City Attorney Joe McMaster. Others present were: Donna Jay, Rodney Montgomery and Buddy Adams. Monthly Minutes Motion by Gold and seconded by Doering to approve the minutes and Reports of council meetings held on June 9, June 15 and June 25, 1976. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Motion by Gold and seconded by Doering to approve General Fund bills in the amount of $12,942A3 and Utility Fund bills in the amount of $166,624.88. Motion carried by uanimous vote. Urban Renewal- Motion by Gold and seconded by Scott to approve a Resolution auth- Sale of Lots orizing the sale of Parcels E-3, E-4, E-5, E-6, E-7, E-8, E-9, and E-12 in the Urban Renewal Addition. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book 03 - Page 080) Award Contract- Motion by Doering and seconded by Gold to accept the bid from Stonehaven Center Structure Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $11,464.50 for the construction of the Stonehaven Center Addition. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Rezoning -1500 Blk. Motion by Doering and seconded by Gold to approve on second and Park Lane final reading an Ordinance rezoning the 1500 block of Park Lane from RM -3 to C2 -A. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Bk.#3- Page #77-78) Rezoning -1810 Motion by Scott and seconded by Doering to approve an ordinance on Austin Ave. first reading for rezoning 1810 Austin Ave. from C-1 to C2 -A. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #81) Final Plat -Son Motion by Gold and seconded by Doering to approve the final plat of Gabriel Heights III San Gabriel Heights Section III. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #82) Final Plat - San Motion by Scott and seconded by Wininger to approve the final plat Gabriel Heights V of San Gabriel Heights Section V. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #82) Public Hearing- Motion by Wininger and seconded by Scott to approve a Resolution San Gabriel setting a time to hold a public hearing on the annexation of San Gabriel Heights IV Heights IV. The Public Hearing is to be held August 10, 1976 at 6:30 P.M. . Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book 03 - Page #83) Minimum Health& Motion by Wininger and seconded by Doering to approve on first reading Housing Ordinance an Ordinance amending the Minimum Health and Housing Standards Ord- inance. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #84) Standard Mechanical Motion by Scott and seconded by Gold to approve on first reading Code Ordinance an ordinance amending the Standard Mechanical Code Ordinance. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #85) Gas Code Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger to approve on first reading Ordinance an ordinance amending the Standard Gas Code Ordinance. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page #85) 319 Fire Hazards Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold to approve on first reading Ordinance an ordinance setting forth rules and regulations to improve public safety by promoting the control of fire hazards. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page 086) Construction & Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger to approve on first reading Demolition an ordinance amending an ordinance providing regulations on construction, Ordinance alteration, removal demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location, maintenance and structures. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinace Book #3 - Page 087) Swimming Pool Motion by Wininger and seconded by Scott to approve on first reading an ordinance regulating the protection of the public health, safety and welfare design, construction or installation, repair or alterations of swimming pools, public or private. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book 03 - Page #88) Airport Advisory Motion by Doering and seconded by Scott to approve on first reading Board an ordinance creating the Airport Advisory Board. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book #3 - Page#89) Cd Amusement The Amusement Ordinance was tabled until the next regular council Ordinance meeting to be held August 10, 1976. C.7 UAdvertise- Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger to authorize City Manager Gas and Oil Leo Wood to advertise for bids for gas and oil for fiscal year 1976-1977. Bids Motion carried by unanimous vote. Jaycee Building There was no discussion on the site of the Jaycee building this meeting. Site Discussion shall be held at the special called meeting to be held July 27, 1976 at 7:00 p.m.. Purchase M K & T There was no discussion on the purchase of the M K & T Railroad property. Property Discussion shall be held at the regularly scheduled meeting on August 10, 1976 at 7:00 p.m.. Electrical Fuel Motion by Gold and seconded by Scott to approve an electrical fuel Adjustment adjustment charge of 88% on the July billing. 80% Is for the standard fuel adjustment and 8% is to be used for the recovery of back fuel adjustment charged the city by LCRA.
