The City Council met in special session at 4:00 o'clock p.m. on the
above date with Mayor John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen
and officials were present: Doering, Shell, Scott, Gold, City Manager Leo
Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Attorney Joe McMaster, and
Planning Commission members Andy Prude and John Green. Others present were:
Bob Stanton, Jim Caskey, Jim Coffman, Bob -Anderson, Harold Parker and
Donna Jay.
Serenada East Motion by Scott and seconded by Doering to approve the final plat of
Final Plat Serenada East with variances from the Subdivision Ordinance passed and
approved on the 14th day of April 1975, as follows:
1. To allow the construction of a 25' paved street instead of the 30'
paved street with curbs as specified in subdivisions with lots smaller than
one acre.
2. To allow for street curve radii to be shorter than the specified 300'
in order to miss large liveoak trees.
Motion carried by a unanimous vote.
Council excepted the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning to
waive and modify requirements on street width and curbing for the reason that
the subdivision is outside of the City limits and because it is located between
existing subdivisions with the same type streets.
There being no further business'on a motion by Shell and seconded by
Gold the meeting adjourned.
