May 24, 1976
The City Council met in special session on the above date with Mayor
John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present:
William Shell, J. D. Wininger, Carl Doering, City Manager Leo Wood, City
Secretary W. L. Walden and Chief of Police Travis Thomas. Others present
were: Donna Jay and Buddy Adams.
Contract -Traffic Councilman Shell reported that the committee appointed to select on
Survey Study engineering firm to make the traffic study recommended that the contract be
awarded to Transportation Engineering Associates.
Motion by Shell and seconded by Doering that the contract be awarded
to the above named firm. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Mayor Doerfler asked that the Traffic Survey Committee work out the
details of the contract.
There being no further business on a motion by Doering and seconded by
Wininger the meeting adjourned.

The City Council met in regular session on the above date with Mayor
John Doerfler presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present:
J. D. Wininger, Carl Doering, D. W. Scott, William Shell, City Manager
Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden, City Inspector Tom Sams, Jim Colbert,
and City Attorney Joe McMaster. Others present were: Hubert Brock, David
True, Donna Jay, Robert Morse, Bill Conners, Bob Stanton, Bill Schott and other
insterested parties.
Monthly Minutes Motion by Wininger and seconded by Scott to approve the minutes of
and Reports Council Meetings held on May 10, May 19, and May 24, 1976. Motion carried
by unanimous vote.
Motion by Scott and seconded by Wininger to approve General Fund
bills in the amount of $8, 118.84 and Utility Fund bills in the amount of
$112,400.32. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Bid Openings- Tom Sams requested that since no bids had been received on the Neighbor -
Neighborhood & hood and Stonehaven Centers that the bid opening date be extended until 4:00 p.m.,
Stonehaven June 25, 1976.
Centers Motion by Doering and seconded by Shell that the bid opening date be
extended to the above. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
A special council meeting will be held on the above date and time for
the bid opening.
