The City Council met at 4:30 p.m. on the above date with Mayor Doerfler
presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present: William Shell,
D. W. Scott, Harry Gold, Carl Doering, J. D. Wininger, City Manager Leo Wood
and City Secretary W. L. Walden. Others present were: Donna Jay, Bill Stump,
James Draeger, Bi I I Conner, Mr. & Mrs. Cooper and Buddy Adams.
Rezoning Lots Mayor Doerfler read statements presented by the attorneys for Draeger and
I &2-Blk.27 and Cooper. James Draeger stated that he had met with the Coopers and agreed to
Lots 3&4-Blk.24 plant a three foot hedge along the east side of Lots 1 & 2 of Block 27 and that
the entrances and exits to these lots would be from Fifth Street.
Motion by Doering and seconded by Shell to approve on first reading an
Ordinance rezoning lots 1 & 2 of Block 27 and Lots 3 & 4 of Block 24 from
RS -Residential Single Family to C2A - Commercial First Height. Motion carried
by unanimous vote.
There being no further business on a motion by Doering and seconded by
Shell the meeting adjourned.
