The City Council met in special session on the above date with Mayor
Joe E. Crawford presiding. The following councilmen and officials were
present: William Shell, John Doerfler, Harry Gold, J. D. Wininger, Dee
Scott, city Manager Leo Wood and City Secretary W. L. Walden.
Bids on Gas & A committee composed of Councilman Dee Scott, Councilman J. D.
Oil Wininger and City Manager Leo Wood recommended to the Council that Lackey
Oil Company, Inc. (ARCO) bid be accepted to furnish the Ciyof Georgetown
with one years supply of gas and oil. The Lackey O i I Company bid was
accepted due to the fact that the company furnished all machinery and tanks
required for city use at no cost. Motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold
to accept the recommendations of the committee. Motion carried by unanimous
vote.
There being -no further business on a motion by Scott and seconded by
Wininger the meeting adjourned.
