The City Council met in special emergency session on the above date with
Mayor Joe E. Crawford presiding. The following councilmen and officials
were present: Harry Gold, Hubert Brock, Dee Scott, City Manager Leo Wood,
City Secretary W. L. Walden and City Attorney Joe McMaster. Others present
were: Jeff South, Jeff Benkoe, Charles Steger and Jim Barksdale.
General Telephone City Attorney Joe McMaster advised the City Council that he had not
Rate Increase had ample time to read and study the citations that had been served the Mayor
and Councilmen concerning the General Telephone law suit filed against the
City of Georgetown. He recommended that no action of any kind be taken at
this time.
There being no further business on a motion by Brock and seconded by Gold
the meeting adjourned.
