April 15, 1974
The City Council met in called session on the above date with Mayor
Joe E. Crawford presiding. The following councilmen and officials were
present: Harry Gold, William R. Eanes, Hubert Brock, J. D. Wininger,
Dee Scott, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary W. L. Walden and City
Attorney Joe B. McMaster. Others present were: Roger Erickson, Edward
Huntington, Donald Goodnight, Bill Williams, Terry Williams, Diane Brown,
Don Werlinger and Bob Stanton.
Serenada Estates-
The City Council authorized, vacating of a portion of Section Two -
Re -subdivide
Serenada Estates, refiling of subdivision of said area is hereby approved, subject
and conditioned on Subdivider (Stanton) securing joinder in such vacation and
resubdivision by all property owners of tracts within said area. Motion by
Brock seconded by Scott to approve the vacating of said property. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
Motion by Brock seconded by Wininger to approve the replat of the pro-
perty. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ordinance Book No. #2 -

r Taxicab Permit
A request from Charles Curtis Saterfield Sr. for a taxicab permit was
presented to the council. It was decided that one taxi was all that was needed
in the city at this time. Motion by Eanes and seconded by Scott to disapprove
the permit. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Bids on Neighbor-
Councilmen Brock, Scott and Wininger acting as a committee appointed

by Mayor Crawford to review the bids on the Neighborhood Facility, recommended
to the City Council that the low bid of $67,640.00 from Donald Goodnight
be accepted. Motion by Eanes and seconded by Gold to accept the bid.
Motion carried by unanimous vote.

the matter and report bact to the Council at the next regular meeting.
There being no further business on a motion by Brock and seconded by
Wininger the meeting adjourned.
