HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 11.27.1972 CC-S204 November 27, 1972 The City Council met in called session on the above date with Mayor Joe E. Crawford presiding. The following councilmen and officials were present, Harry Gold; William Eanes, Dee Scott, J. D. Wininger, Hubert Brock, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Claud Eada, and City Attorney Joe McMaster. Others present were Jay C. Sloan, Mrs. Runelle Baker, Fred Knauth, John R. Thomas, Harold Parker, Jack Frost, Dr. Douglas Behold, Don Scarbrough, Andy Welch, James Draeger, and Mr. Gene McKee, Architect for the Georgetown Public Schools. Gene McKee- Mr. Gene McKee, Architect for Georgetown Public Schools, gave Request for the council the location of the proposed sight for structure of a new Utilities high school building and requested that the City"of Georgetown furnish the school with electricity, sewer and water. Mr. McKee also compared electrical rates with several cities and suggested that the City of Georgetown consider reducing their electrical rates. Mayor Crawford stated thatthe city did not have the funds to furnish water and sewer lines to the new school building and suggested that their architect furnish the council with water, sewer and garbage rates of the above cities. Mayor Crawford suggested that the school board have a meeting with the council at a later date to discuss the matter. There being no further business on a motion by Wininger and seconded by Gold the meeting adjourned. ATTEST: Claud Lads own
