Mullins Inc. be paid from the Sewer Construction Bond Account. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Bandis Motion by Gold and seconded by Brock that the amount of $3,841.20 Industries be paid from the Urban Renewal Bond Account to Bandis Industries for Estimate #1 Estimate #1. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Roger Erickson Motion by Gold and seconded by Wininger that a bill in the amount of Bill $2,505.60 from Roger Erickson be approved and paid from the Fire Station Bond account. Motion carried by unanimous vote. There being no further business on a motion by Lanes and seconded by Brock the meeting adjourned. ATTEST: Jay C. Sloan, Mayor, City of Georgetown City Secretary The City Council met in called session on the above date with Mayor Jay C. Sloan presiding. The following councilmen and officials were pre- sent, William Lanes, Iiarry Gold, Joe Crawford, J. D. Wininger, Hubert Brock, City Manager Leo Wood and Asst. City Manager Claud Eads. Others present were Dale Hester, James Toungate, Tom Curtis and Norma Harris. Round Rock The hound Rock Agreement was discussed at length. Motion by Lanes and Agreement seconded Crawford that Mayor Sloan be authorized to sign the agreement with Round Rock concerning territorial jurisdiction. The agreement will be prepared by Joe McMaster and Tom Curtis. Round Rock is to have J mile on the East side of highway 35 at the Rabbit Hill overpass and 1 mile on the West side of Highway 35. The last paragraph of this agreement was discussed and shall be eliminated. The motion passed by unanimous vote. (See Page 188 for Agreement) Purchase of Purchasing water from the City of Round hock from a proposed water well Water from to be drilled near Westinghouse Plant was discussed. The City of Round Round Rock Rock agreed to sell water to the City of Georgetown at cost. The cost of water would be the amount of maintenance and debt service. Each year the cost would be taken after audit figures are determined. Both cities agreed to this proposal after City Attorney Joe McMaster approves contract. Williamson The Williamson County Health Unit asked for $6,400.00 for the 1972-73 County Health Budget. No action was taken. Unit VFire The fire Department requested permission from the council to let Department Explorer Scouts assist firemen. City Attorney Joe McMaster stated that the parents or guardian of the child would need to sign a waiver. City Manager Wood was instructed to check with the insurance agent and determine if the city insurance policy covered this type operation. Airgun Police Chief John Shearin recommended an air gun ordinance which was Ordinance discussed by council. No action was taken. Mayor Sloan suggested that Chief Shearin meet with the council and discuss this matter at a later date. Airport Road Mayor Sloan read a letter from Williamson County petitioning the Annexation City to annex the Airport Road. Motion by Brock and seconded by Wininger that papers be drawn up to annex the Airport Road.•Motion carried by unanimous vote. Highland Motion by Brock and seconded by Gold that a bill in the amount of Park $2,436.00 be paid out of the Electrical Bond Account. Motion carried by Conversion unanimous vote. The above check is to be paid to Southwestern Industrial Electrical Company, for work on the highland Park conversion. Ilolloman Motion by Brock and seconded by Gold that F. E. Holloman Excavating Estimate Company Estimate #1 for $30,148.09, be paid from the Sewer Construction # 1 Bond Account. Motion carried by unanimous vote. W. H. Sloan, Mayor, City of Georgetown City Secretary PAMPA THE STATE OF TE) AS COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON A G R E E M E N T WHEREAS, the City of ]found Rock, Williamson County, Texas, and the City of Georgetown of Williamson County, Texas, have recently annexed certain property lying and being situated between the two towns; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient and to the best interest of both cities for an agreement to be reached pertaining to the matter of the boundary line between said cities and related matters; THEitEFORE, KNOW ALL MEI BY THESE PRESENTS: That for and in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein appearing said cities do hereby agree as follows: 1. The common boundary line between the City of hound Hock and the City of George- town, north of Round Hock and south of Georgetown, shall be a line crossing Interstate Highway 35 directly under the Rabbit Hill overpass and in the center thereof. 2. The City of Georgetown shall not annex or assert or claim to have within its extraterritorial jurisdiction now or in the future the land west of Interstate Highway 35 and south of the boundary line described below and the City of Round Rock shall not annex or assert or claim to have within its extraterritorial jurisdiction now or in the future the land lying west of Interstate Highway 35 and north of said line, described as follows: Said line being in the Ephrain Evans Survey, Abstract #212 and the John Powell Survey, Abstract 491, and being described as follows: Beginning at a point where the center line of the Rabbit Hill Over- pass intersects the west right-of-way line of IH 35, said point being in the E. Evans Survey, Abstract 212; THENCE; in a northerly and northeasterly direction, crossing the north line of the E:.• Evans Survey and the south line of the John Powell Survey, Abstract 491 and following along the west right-of-way line of Ili 35 511.6' to a point for corner; TIIINCE continuing along the west right-of-way line of I1135 north 340 40' 23" east 57.53' to a point for corner, said point being the northeast corner of a certain tract purchased by Westinghouse Electric Co., from Raymond Pearson; THENCE south 860 43' 3" west, following along the north property line of said Westinghouse tract 243.57' to a point for corner; THENCE south 870 33' 53" west and continuing along the north boundary line of said Westinghouse tract 722.98' to a point for -corner, said point being a northwest property corner of said tract; THENCE continuing south 870 33' 53" west, crossing the Georgetown Railroad Company right-of-way 60' to a point for corner in the west right- of-way line of said Railroad; THENCE south 60 41' 24" west and at all times following along the George- town Railroad right-of-way 580.3' to a point for corner, said point being in the south line of•the John Powell Survey, Abstract 491 and the north line of the E. Evans Survey, Abstract 212; THENCE in a generally westerly course, following along the south boundary line of the Texas Crushed Stone Company property and south line of the John Powell Survey, Abstract 491 as follows: south 680 43' 35" west 741.52', south 690 14' 36" west 1,033.08', south 690 27' 24" west 342.28', south 800 30' 03" west 46.67', south 690 16' 40" west 1586.451. TV 0 V 189 2.1 The City of Round Rock shall not annex or.assert or claim to have within its extraterritorial jurisdiction now or in the future the land lying east of said Interstate Highway 35 and north of the line described below and the City of Georgetown shall not annex or assert or claim to have within its extraterritorial jurisdiction now or in the future the land lying east of said Interstate Highway 35 and south of said line described as follows: Beginning at a point in the east right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35 as said right-of-way line exists as of the date written below, at a point where the aforesaid common city limits line would intersect said right-of-way if extended to that point; THL•NCE in a southerly direction along said east right-of-way of said Interstate Highway 35 to a point where the dividing line of Georgetown Independent School District and Round Hock Independent School District line intersect said east right-of-way line; THENCE south 7-10 east 322.5 varas; THENCE north 710 east 80 varas; THIN CE south 190 east 115 varas; THENCE north 710 east 631 varas to what is now the southeast corner of the C.
