HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 04.05.1971 CC-R162 April 5, 1971 The City Council met foi a called meeting on the above date with Mayor Jay C. Sloan presiding. The following Councilmen and officials were present, William Eanes, Harry Gold, Joe Crawford, J. D. Wininger, Hubert Brock, City Manager Leo Wood and Asst. City Manager Claud Eads. Other present were Norma Harris and Bill Buchanan. Public A Public Hearing, as required by State Statues, was held considering Hearing annexation of one mile right-of-way on Highway 35, South of Georgetown. Sewer, Mayor Sloan discussed the sewer easements pertaining to the Grady Easements Watkins and Ronald Mahan property, one requirement in getting our .660 grant for construction. Mayor Sloan suggested that he and the City Attorney meet with Mr. Watkins, Mr. Mahan and their attorneys and discuss the matter concerning easements on above properties. Mayor Sloan stated that a letter would be mailed to parties concerned in the matter. Mayor Sloan stated that there would be a Public Hearing on April 27, 1971.
