March 8, 1971
The City Council met in regular session on the above date with
Mayor Jay C. Sloan presiding. The following councilmen and officials
were present, William Eanes, Harry Gold, Joe Crawford, Hubert Brock,
City Manager Leo Wood, and Asst. City Manager Claud Eads. Others present
were Mrs. Herbert Baker and Rickard Mittanck.
Minutes Minutes of Council meetings held February 8, 1971 and February 22,
1971, were approved as presented.
Monthly Motion by Brock and seconded by Gold that General fund bills in the
Bills amount of $4,778.98 and Utility fund bills in the amount of $21,470.77
be approved and paid. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
W. H. Mullins Payment on W. H. Mullins bill in the amount of $747.50 for engineer -
Bill ing services on proposed sewer line east of town was not approved.
City Manager's Council authorized City Manager to advertise for City Manager's
Car Car. The present car will be transfered to the Police Department to
be used by the Chief of Police for City business. Mayor Sloan stated
that bids for the Manager's car would be opened March 22, 1971.
Bond Sale Mayor Sloan stated that there would be a bond sale at 5:30 P.M.
on Monday, March 15th and that there would be a called council meeting
on March 22, 1971.
di There being no further business on a motion by Eanes and seconded
O by Crawford the meeting adjourned.
