JA.NL'ARY 5, 1971
The City Council met in called session on the above date with
Mayor Jay C. Sloan presiding. The following; Councilmen and officials
were present Harry Gold, Hubert Brock, Joe Crawford, William 'it. Lames,
J. D. Wininger, City Manager Leo Wood, and Asst. City NIanag;er Claud
Lads. Others present were Jarvis Philpot and Bill Buchanan.
Swimming Councilman Gold stated that after he, Manager Wood and Councilman
Pool Brock investigated the swiiaming pool at Killeen, they felt a swimming;
pool could be built that would serve our needs for somewhere around
s10,000.0U.
Motion by Gold and seconded by Eanes that all bids submitted to
construct the swimming pool be rejected. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
There being; no further business on a motion by Gold and seconded
by Brock the meeting; adjourned.
