The City Council met in regular session on the above (late with Mayor
Jay C. Sloan presiding. The following; councilmen and officals were present,
William Lanes, ]tarry Gold, Joe Crawford, J. D. Wininger, llubert Brock,
City Kanag;er Leo Rood, Asst. City Manager Claud Lads. Others present were
Roger LVickson, hill Buchanan, M rs..Leonar Cook, Mr. & Mrs. James A. Rehler,
Don Scarbrough, L. E. Zucknick, and Mussell lion Parker.
Minutes of Council meetings held October 12th and 19th were approved
as presented.
Monthly Motion by bold and seconded by Eines that Utility Bills in the amount
Bills of '23,787.19 a.9 -General Fund Bills in the amount of 8;3,048.45
be approved and paid. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Oak Crest Air. Jim llehler gave a brief review of Oak Crest instates and Ranchetts
Estates to the Council. He was asked to give Manager Wood all information on proposed
subdivision and asked to be on the next meeting agenda.
Don Parker Don Parker appeared and asked that the City construct a lift station
Lift to serve Williams Addition Unit H. After a lengthly discussion no action
Station was taken.
Lone Star Mr. William Lanes made a motion that the new lease on the Cities
Gas Lease building occupied by Lone Star Gas Company be approved. Motion died for
CO lack of a second.
Mayor Sloan stated that the lease would be discussed at the next meeting;.
(� Citizens Manager Wood stated that the Citizens Advisory Committee discussed the
V Advisory possibility of getting the fronts of business buildings painted and appear -
Committee ances improved. Mayor Sloan and the Council were in favor of the program and
encouraged the group to make a further study.

approval on the Water Tower Project.

Home Mule , Manager Wood presented drawings for a portion of land south of
Annexiation the existing; City limits which include Ricks Lumber and Highland Park
Addition. Also Manager Wood suggested that part of East Lynn Addition and
other properties East of Hutto !load be considered for annexiation.
Council was in favor of above proposals anti told City blanaver Wood and
Surveyor lion Parker to proceed with annexiation and surveys.
Swimming Motion by Gold and seconded;by Crawford that the plans and specific -
Pool ations for the swimming pool be prepared and bids opened December 28, 1970
Plans at 5:00 P.M. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
There being; no further business on a motion by Crawford and seconded by
Gold the meeting adjourned.
