October 12, 1970
The City Council met in regular session on the above date with
:Mayor Pro -Tem llubert Brock presiding. The following! Councilmen anti officials
were present Joe Crawford, J. 1). Wininger, llarry Gold, William It. Banes,
City Mananger Leo food, Asst. City \Manager Claud Bads, Joe McMaster,
Fred Muhl, Skip Mills, and Richard Mitanck.
Minutes of the Council meeting held September 15, 1970, were approved
as presented.
Monthly Bills Motion by gold and seconded by Crawford that General Fund bills in
the amount of 62,034.71 and Utility Bills in the amount of 831,130.78
be approved and paid. Motion carried by unamious vote.
Ili -Lift Pump Motion by Gold and seconded by Wining;er that the bill from Southwest
Pump Supply Company, for the Ili -lift pump, in the amount of 86,827.G5
be approved and paidfrom the Water Construction Fund. (Motion carried by
unanimous vote.
Electrical Motion by Gold and seconded by Lanes that the following bills be
Bond Program approved and paid.from the Electrical Bond Fund.

Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Police Const. Motion by Gold and seconded by Eanes that the following bills be
Fund approved and paid, from the Police Station Construction fund.

Mayor Pro -Tem Brock appointed Willie Robinson, J. D. Wininger, and
Harry Gold to check the above bids and report to the Council oil October 19,
1970.
Pickup Bids The following bids were opened on- a one-half ton pickup.
Draeger Motor Company (delivery 25 to 30 days) 82,253.38
Georgetown Auto Sales (delivery as soon as possible) 2,186.00
Compton Motors (delivery GO days) 2,038.00
Motion by Lanes and seconded by 1,ininger that Compton Motors be
awarded the bids. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Two -Way Radio The following bids were opened on a two-way radio.

Councilman Ernes suggested that the 'Mayor Pro -Tern appoint a couunittee
to check the above bids. Mayor Pro -Tem Brock appointed Joe Crawford,
!Hubert Brock and Leo Wood to check the above bids.
Capitol Area Motion by Gold and seconded by lanes that Capitol Area Planning gouncil
Planning be paid �;63U.00 for annual dues. ",lotion carried. Harry Gold was appointed
Council as the voting representative for the City of Georgetown.
"j'ayor Pro -Tem Brock stated that there would be a called meeting
of the City Council on October 19, 1970.
There being no further business on a motion by Wininger and seconded
by Gold the meeting was adjourned.
