The Georgetown City Council met on the above date in a called
meeting with Mayor Jay Sloan presiding. Present in the meeting
were councilmen Hubert Brock, Bill Eanes, A. F. Davis, and Harry
Gold. Doyle Lyda was not present. Also present were City Manager
Leo Wood and Asst. City Manager Claud Eads. Others present repre-
senting the Citywere Mr. Bill Mullins and Curtis Adrian. Other
citizens present were as follows: Mrs. Cook, Mr. Dean, Bob Sterling,
Ed Neff,'Mr. Muhl, Connie Shirley, and Jim Rehler.
Workable Motion by Davis and seconded by canes that the Workable Pro -
Program gram Resolubion be adopted. All were in favor.(Ordinance Book Pg. 167)
Zoning Notice of a Zoning Ordinance Amendment was presented to the
council, on height regulation of signs. (Ordinance Book Pg. 167)
Motion by Brock and seconded by Gold that the above ordinance be
approved. All were in favor.
Electrical Mr. George,Gregg was present and asked the council to consider
Industrial: a electrical industrial rate change. Council agreed to consider
Rate a study of this -change by the manager and the engineer.
Mr. Curtis bir.-Curtis Adrian appeared before the Council and discussed
Adrian the financial condition of the City and presented bond indebtedness
of the City. He assured the Council that the City of Georgetown
was in a good condition to sell bends. Also Mr. Adrian read an
order of election to be held on Dec. 10, 1969.
Bond Election Motion was made by Mr. Gold and seconded by Mr. Eanes that
the City Council pass a resolution to call for a $860,000.00 bond
election. All were in favor.
There being no further business on a motion by Brock and second-
ed by Davis the meeting was adjourned.
