The following* councilmen and officials were present: William It. 1':anes, Barry Gold, Doyle Lyda, .1. F. Davis and Assistant City Manager Claud Inds. Also present were: Barry Browne, Miss Irene Henderson and Less Hudson. Minutes of meetin-gs held Jan 13, 20, and 27, 1969 were approved as presented. Motion by Lanes and seconded by (,old that bills be approved and paid as listed. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 1lrater Tani & Less Judson explained in detail the procedure of painting, the Tosser Paint.in,y water tower. Sewer Line Less :Judson explained to the council proposed routing of sewer Extension line extension from old I!i,,hway 81 near Auction barn t,oi.nl; west to 35 highway 35 near the Fumble Station located on Int.erstat.e '_!i;;htvay ;�35 and stated that the cost would be $14,5K5.00 for construction. A com.n.ittee composed of Vayor Sloan, Council;:ien Davis and Lyda are to co -tact Vr. Mikeska and lir. Russell Parker as to ar►ount of their con- tributions to this project. Library Progress Itenort of Georgetown Area Public Library - January Progress Circulation for the month of January showed 5ti8 books. The aver - CZ$ Report age daily circulation wits 23 and we had 34 new card holders, Vte had 215 hardback boobs given to and 74 paperbacks. Some of these hardback books are not good enough to 1�eep. 1•'or the month of January we had x;30.00 given to the Library for memerial books. J. D. Godfrey of Austin, Texas, sent us a picture and biography of Join '.1cFr.din - 3rd Judge of Williamson County. ordered 4 new books this month and they have come in. One of these are on the best seller's list. also received a new book on Interior Decorating which we had ordered back in October.
