June 25, 1965
The city council met on the above date in called session,
Mayor R. S. Elliott presiding. The following Councilmen and
officials were present, Doyle Lyda, Edward Lee Evans, A. W.
Hoyt, Jr., Hubert Brock, Jay C. Sloan and Claud Eads, City
Secretary.
T?otion by Edward Lee Evans and seconded by I'l. W. Hoyt,Jr„
that Ulayor R. S. Elliott be authorized to enter into an agree—
ment with Charles D. Eyeington as City Manager of the City of
Georgetown at a salary of $9,000.00 per year, contract to be
effective as of July 1.9, 1965 or sooner if Mr. Eyeington is
able to get to Geor`;etovm sooner. P -lotion carried by un—
aminous vote. There being no further business council adjourned.
