November 30, 1964
The City Council met on the above date Mayor R. S. Elliott,
presiding. The purpose of the meeting was to consider bids for <
Employees Group Insurance. The allowing Aldermen and Officials being
present, A. W. Hoyt, Jr., E. P. Miles, Doyle Lyda, Kennie Wilcox, Jr,',
Lee C. Black, City Manager, C1aud.Eads , City Secretary, Fred Knauth,
C. S. Sanders, City Tax Collector and Assessor, Joe McMaster,.City
Attorney.
The following Companies presented proposals for Group Insurance
on City Employees.
Life and Casualty represented by Leroy F. Barden, Jr.,and
Ernest lincoln.
The Travelers Insurance Company represented by Sam Brady.
National Bankers Life Insurance Company represented by Wallace
Evans.
All of the above proposals were discussed by the Council— Mayor
stated that the Council would analyze and compare benefits of all
proposals and submit to Council at a later date.
PAVING CERTIFIED RELEASE
See Ordinance Book Pages, 397- 398
Motion by Miles and seconded by Hoyt that the above Release
be approved.
Motion carried by unanimous vote.
There being no further business on motion by Miles and seconded
by Hoyt meeting adjourn.
