The City Council met in called session at 3 P. M. on the above
date Mayor R. S. Elliott presiding. The following Councilmen and officials
were present, Alderman Miles, Lyda, Wilcox, Hoyt, City Manager Lee C. Black,
Claud Eads, City Secretary, H. We Curington with.Bryant.Curington, Engineers.
Motion by Hoyt and seconded by Lyda that Bryant and Curington Engineers
be authorized to present plans for Sewer Plant to the State Health Department.
Votes as follows Ayes; Miles, Hoyt, Lvda, Wilcoxr Noes- Done.
RESOLUTION
ION
INEERFAS, the City of Georgetown is contemplating improvements to
tater and Sewer systems under U. S. P. H. Project - WPC TFX -324 and
Public Law 660; and
WHFREAS, it is necessary that the City designate someone to sign
contracts, estimates and other instruments involved in the said proposed
construction.
N N , THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the City of George-
town designates its City Idanager to sign contracts, agreements, estimates
and any other pertinent documents incident to the Utility additions or con-
struction in Georgetown, (Project U. S. P. H. WPC '1Ek - 324) where the sig-
nature of a representative of the City is required .
BE IT KTRTHER RESOLVED that the City Secretary is hereby empowered to attest
to the signature of the City Manager and to affix the City Seal if the same
