The City Council met in called session on the above data,
Mayor R. S. Elliott presiding. The following officials and aldermen
being present, Kennie Wilcox, Jr., Doyle Lyda, A. W. Hoyt,Jr.,
Edward Lee Evans, Lee C. Black, City Manager, Claud Eads City Secretary,
Fred Knauth, Dan Dowda, Chief of Police, C. S. Sanders, Tax Assessor,
and Collector, Les Hudson and H. 4,, Curington with Bryant-Curington
Engineers, Joe B. Yellaster, City Attorney,'Pilliam L. Marvel, with
Rauscher, Pierce & Co.
Motion by Evans and seconded by Hoyt that Bryant & Curington
be employed to present and prepare a premininary plan for the construction
of a Contact Stabilization Sanitary Disposal Plant. idotion carried by
unanimous vote.
Motion by -iloox and seconded by Evans that }Yater and Sewer
Bonds authorized by voters on tpril 7, 1964, Sewage Bonds in amount of
4-280,000.00 and Water Works Bonds in amount of $89,000.00. These bonds
to extend to over a period of 15 years term. Bond agent to present
figures at May 11, meeting. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Bonds to be sold on competitive Bids.
There being no further business on motion by Wilcox and seconded
by Lyda meeting adjourn.
