The City Council met in regular session on the above date r,
kayor R. S. Elliott presiding, the following officers and officials
being present, Kennie Wilcox, Jr. Doyle Lyda, Edward Lee Evans, A.W.Hoyt,Jr,
E. P. Miles, City Manager Lee C. Black, Claud Eads, City Secretary,
Dan Dowda, Chief of Police, C. S. meanders, City Tax Collector and
Assessor, Lenard McLaughlin, vire Marshall, Fred Knauth, Joe B. McMaster,
City Attorney, Clark Davis, Drew Ballard, with KG.T.N. ;Tray Weddell,
with American Statesman, James Rosser , J. W. Garrett, 0. 111, Sherrill,
Mit Lee, Nathan Kaiser, Frank Brytan, Less Hudson, We R. Stump.
Manager Black read minutes of meetings held, Varch 9, 19G4,
March 16, 1964 and March 23, 1964 and April 4, 1964.
Minutes were approved as read.
Manager Black read reports for the month of March and submitted
General Fund Rills in the amount of 1724.54. Motion by Miles and seconded
by Hoyt that reports be accepted and General rund Bills be paid. Motion
carried by unanimous vote.
Mayor R. S. Elliott appointed, Kennie Wilcox, Jr, E. P. Miles and
A. We Hoyt, Jr, to Canvass returns of election held on April 7, 1964 to
elect Mayor and two Aldermen for the ensuing two (2) years and Bond
Improvement Sewer System and Water System.

OF CITY BOND ELECTION
Motion by Hoyt and seconded by Miles- Votes as follows, Miles, Hoyt,

Mit Lee discussed the possibility of San Gabriel Hills coming into
City of Georgetown, The Mayor and Council suggested that Mr. Lee submit
a preliminary plat of San Gabriel Hills to the Council at their next
meeting for study and consideration.
'The City planning `Commission recommended that the following request
for amendment to the Zoning Ordinance be made.
All lots 27 to 32 in Block 1 Country Club Estates Addition out of
Nichols Porter Survey, and -all of lots 8 -to 20 inclusive in'.Bloak 2 of
Country Club Fstated Addition'out of -Nicholas -Porter Survey, Be changed from
R -1 -One Family,Dwelling District to B -1 -Local Retail District. See Ordinance

changes be made. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Motion by Evens and seconded by Lyda that changes be made as re-
quested in Resolution. Votes as follows- AXES* Wilcox, Lyda, Miles,

Manager Black discussed the position the R.E.A. and the City of
Georgetown were in regarding Electric service rendered to the property
owners in the Crestview Addition since they have been annexed to the City
of Georgetown, Manager Black stated that R. E. A. had 10 years in which to
vacate in this area since they did not have a franchise to operate in the
City of Georgetown.
Clark Davis stated that there were some City employees causing dis-
turbances and drinking off duty.
Less Hudson with Bryant and Curington discussed at the length the
Council steps to be taken in grater and Sewer extension lines installations

prepare bids and plans at once.
There being no further business on motion by Miles and seconded
by +oilcox Council adjourned.
