H. 7V. Currington stated the+t the City of Geor€;etown could receive
30j, of cost of newer extension lines and Yrater lines and 113 grant on
Sanitary -jewer Disposal plant from United States Government.
Iti°r. Riddle with the State Health Department stated that City could
receive 30; of cost on water and sewer extensions and ;;ewer Disposal plant
eligible items.
Mr. Riddle also stated that the present serer disposal sirstem does
not comply with the 'later polution board.
Dob Gordon with the Federal P,ousing and Home Finance P.gency discussed
the steps to be taken in securing Federal Aid for Urban renewal. He stated
that there were seven steps th�xt the City would have to comply with and
submit to the depart•,emt in '.1ashington. The first step was to appoint a plan-
ning, board and establish Master Plan which would have to be submitted to the
Department.

Motion by Hoyt and seconded by Lyda that City make an offer of
1200.00 per acre for the R. E. James property approximately 14 acres
loopted near the present land purchased from Southwestern University.
Votes as follows- Ayes, loilcox, Hoyt, Liles, Lyda, ?:vans- Noes -Prone.
There being no further business on motion by Hoyt and seconded
by 'I+ilcox meeting adjourn.
