HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 02.18.1963 CC-S300 February 18th, 1963 The City Council met on the above date in called session, Mayor R. S. Elliott prsiding, Alderman, E. P. Miles, Kennie Wilcox, Doyle Lyda, Edward Lee Pavans, City Manager Lee C. Black, Claud Eads, City Secretary, Dan Dowda, Chief of Police, 44. K. McClain, City Attorney, C. S. Sanders, City Tax Collector, Fred Knauth. Also present were W. R. Stump, Victor Knauth, Jack McJunken, J.W. Garett, Douglas Henslee, Mr. Henslee represented Rauscher, Pierce & Co. Inc. Reporters, John Cardwell and Miss Martha Bowmer. Motion by Doyle Lyda and seconded by Kennie Wilcox, Jr. that Block 34 zof the -Snyder. Addition to'the City of''Georgetpwn be changed from R-1 "One Family Dwelling District" to R-2, "Duplex and Apartment District" and that Zoning Ordinance reflect above change. Motion carridd by unanimous vote. See`Ordinance Book Pages No. 262 -263 - Mr. Henslee with Rauscher, Pierce & Co., discussed with the Council the types of bonds that could be issued and the difference be- tween Revenue and Tax Bonds. Mr. Henslee stated that fee for services rendered by his company would be based on the amount of bonds issued and if bonds were not voted on favorably there would be a minimum of 1250.00 which could be cancelled if Company elected to do so. Cleaning of Old Cemetery on West and 2nd. street was referred to later meeting. There being no further business on Motion by Miles and seconded by Evans that meeting adjourn.
