Kennie Wilcox, Jr., Manager, Lee C. Black, Dan Dowda, Chief of Police, We K. McClain, City Attorney, Lenard XcLPughlin, Fire Marshall, C. S. Sanders, Tax Collector & Assessor, Claud Bads, City Secretary. Manager Black read reports for the Month of September and submitted bills in the amount of $824,63. Motion by A. 11. Hoyt, Jr.,and seconded by J. H. Compton that reports be accepted and bills be paid. G. M. Brennan, District Manager for Southwestern States Telephone Co. met with council to discuss raise in Telephone rates for Georgetown. Council suggested that Telephone Company prepare operating statement from July 1, 1960 to July 1, 1,061 and present to council for their study. Mayor C. A. Forbes read letter from R. P. West, II. S. Army Engineer of Fort Worth in which Mr. hest stated that he would make a survey of the Georgetown Area for purpose of fall out shelter. Mayor also read letter from Curtis 1�unn thanking council for resolution of respect to has Father 1,je H. Nunne emotion by J. H. Compton and seconded by A. W. Hoyt, Jr., that council charge C. S. Sanders Tax Collector & Assessor with taxes in the amount of $43,305.37• - Rendered Valuation #3,464,430.00. .
