The City Council met in regular session on the above date, Mayor,
C. A. Forbes, Aldermen, J. H. Compton, A. W. Hout, Jr., Kennis Wilcox, Jr.
Floyd Jones, Floyd Fngvall, Lee C. Black, City Manager, H. A. Partain, Asset
City Manager, Claud Eads, City Secretary, L. G. Glover, General Supt.
C. S. Sanders , City Tax Collector.
Manager Black read reports for the month of October and submitted
General Fund bills in the amount of $820.77 for approval. Motion by
Floyd Jones and seconded by J. H. Compton that reports be accepted and bills
paid.
Manager Black plans for the Army Reserve Building at an estimeated
cost of 120,000.00.
Jay Wolf and Arthur Walker discussed possibility of council extending
water line across South San Gabriel river near Liberty Hill bridge to serve
Trans Mix Concrete Company. City Council instructed Manager Black to investigate
the cost of extending line for above project and report to council at later
date.
Manager Black presented his yearly report to the Council. The Council
commended Manager Black presenting a very complete and informative report.
George L. Boswell made a detailed report to the City Council of his
audit of the City books from A** 318t, 1959 to4I$ust 31, 1960.
There being no further business on motion by Floyd Jones and seconded
by Floyd Engvall that meeting adjourn*
