The City Council met in regular session on the above date. Mayor, C. A. Forbes,
Alderman .,J.H. Compton, Floyd Engvall, A. V'l. Hoyt, Jr, Floyd E. Jones,
Rennie Wilcox, Jr. C. S. Sanders, Tax Collector, Dan Dowda, Chief of Police,
Claud Eads, City Secretary, Lenard MoLauEhlin, Fire Chief, Nis K. McClain, City
Attorney. Mr. Juett, Manager of Lone Star Gas Company and Harold Gattis.
Manager Black read reports for month of April and submitted General Fund
bills in the anount of $1,032.50 for approval. Motion by J. H. Compton and
s,3conded by A. Wo Hoyt, Jr. that report be approved and bills paid.
Mr. Elmo Reed, E. J. Jarrard, and Hobson Martin were present in behalf of
Highway Department erecting no parking signs on Church Street, Also present
were Cliff Welch and Vialter Howard renresentinr Rauscher Pierce & Co. of
San Antonio,
Second Reading,. On motion by J. H. Compton and seconded by Kennie Wilcox,Jr.
that Lone -Star Gas rate ordinance be read by Caption. Caption was read by
A. V-4 Hoyt, Jr,

Manager , Black read letter from Georgetown School Board accepting the
City Council's offer to participate in schools records relating to Tax
Revaluation, Motion by Alderman Hoyt, and seconded by Compton that 350,000
be suggested to citizens for Bond proposal.
There being no further business on motion by Engvall and seconded by Hoyt,
that meeting adjourn.
