The City Council met in regular session with the following present,
Mayor Pro Tem Fredericson, Alderman Compton, Jones, Hoyt, Wilcox , Attorney
u'. h. McClain, C. 6. Sanders, Tax Ass&ssor, Chief of Police, Dan Dowda, H. A. Partain
Assistant MCr, Claud Eads, Secretary, Lee C. Black, City Manager.
Minutos of previous meeting were read and on motion of Alderman, Compton
seconded by I+ilcox, munutes were approved.
City Manager road monthly reports and submitted General Fund bills for
approval in the amount of 4 789.63 . On motion of Alderman Jones seconded by
Compton reports were approved and bills approved for payments.
It was suggested by Alderman Compton that a letter be written to the
three fireman that attended the Fireman Training School at A & M College thanking
them for their time and effort.
Manager Black reported that the Balliew lots # 5-7-8 in Block 9 on Rock &
9th, street adjoining city property could be bought for X1,500.00 and after dis-
cussion a motion by Alderman Jones seconded By Hoyt that the Mayor be authorized
to try and purchase same.
There being no further business on motion of Alderman Compton seconded by
Wilcox, meeting adjourned .
