The City Council met in regular session with following presents
Mayor C. A. Forbes, Alderman J. H. Compton, Floyd Jones, A. W. Hoyt, Jr.
Kennie Wilcox, Jr., Manager Black, A" istaht manager Partain, C. S. Sanders,
Tax Assessor, Claud Bads, Secretary. Minutes of previous meeting read and
approved. Vanager Black read reports for month of April and submitted
4eneral Fund bills in amount of $870.67 for approval. Motion by Alderman
Compton seconded by Alderman Hoyt that report be approved and bills paid.
Motion carried.
City Manager Black recommended that parking space be reserved for
Walden Taxi in front of Taxi office between 8th, & 9th, on Austin, Ave.
Motion by Compton seconded by Hoyt that permit be granted. Motion carried.
Council discussed having joint meeting with School Board to further
discuss Tax Revaluation program.
There being no further business on motion Alderman Jones seconded
by Wilcox, council adjourned. Motion carried.
