October i3, 1958
The City Council met in regular session with the following present;
Mayor Forbes, Aldermen Fredericson, Freund, Jones and Wilcox - Manager
Black, Assistant Partain - City Attorney McClain - Secretary McCook -
Police Chief Pickle - Mr. Don Scarbrough and Mr. George C. Boswell.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read.
Mr. Black then read the reports for the month of September and submitted
bills totaling $636.38 for payment out of the General Fund. Motion by
Alderman Fredericson-seconded by Freund that reports be approved and bills
paid. Motion Carried,
Mayor Forbes then called on Mr. Boswell to review his audit report to
the council. Mr. Boswell then led a discussion of the audit and the council
accepted the report.
Mr. Black requested the authority to have the city financial statement
published in the local paper. Motion by Alderman Jones -seconded by Fredericson
that statement be published. Motion Carried.
ELECTRICAL ORDINANCE -THIRD & FINAL READING:- Motion by Alderman Fredericson
seconded by Freund that ordinance be read by caption. Motion Carried. Ordinance
read by Alderman Fredericson and a roll call vote taken as follows; Ayes -
Aldermen Fredericson, Freund, Jones and Wilcox. Noes -None.
TRAFFICZ SIGNAL LIGHT ORDINANCE:- Mr. Black read proposed agreement with
State Highway Department for the installation and maintenance of traffic lights
on U.S.Highway #81 and the necessity of including the emergency clause in
order that the agreement be executed at this meeting. Motion by Alderman
Fredericson-seconded by Wilcox that orinance pass first reading and be read
by caption for second and third reading. Motion Carried.

Mr. Black then explained agreement for settlement with Airport Manager
A. 0. Williams on debt to city. Note payments to begin on January 1, 1959 at
the rater of $100.00 per month.
There being no further business,on Motion of Alderman Wilcox -seconded by
abase Freund council adjourned.
