December 9th, 1957.
The City Council met in regular session on the above date, Mayor
J. T. Atkin presiding. The followimg members were present: Aldermen:
J. H. Compton, R, K. ?rederieson, Ralph ?round, Kennis Wilcox, Jr.,
A. C. ?Poodfin,Attorneyg"T. H. Nunn; City Manager Lee C. Black; Ass t.
Manager H. A. Partain ; Chief of police A. P. Pickle; M. L. Cates,
Secretary.
Minutes of the last session were read and on motion of Ald. Compton,
seconded of Ald. Fredericson were approved as read.
Manager Lee C. Black read his own and the monthly reports of officers
and bills and accounts of $1329.82 for approval and payment. On
motion of Ald. Woodfin, seconded by Ald. Wilcox the reports were re-
ceived and filed and accounts ordered paid.
A motion was made by Ald. Friend that the City parking Meters be sus-
pended from December 12th to e7anuary 2, 1958, allowing Free Parkins
to the public between those dates, and sacks be places of over said m
meters. The motion was seconded by Ald. Toodfin , which carried by
unanimous vote.
There being xno fruther business a motion was made ang carried that
the Council adjourn.
