Atkin presiding, the following members were present, Alderman, J. H. Compton, E. K. Fredericson, Ralph lreund, A. C. Wdddfin, and Kennie Wilcox, Jr. Manager Lee C. Black Assistant Manager H.A.Partain. The meeting was called by Mayor Atkin to pass on the following business. On motion of Alderman, Fredericson and seconded by Alderman Freund the following resolution was passed. RESOLUTION See Ordinance Book Page 140. On motion of Alderman Woodfin , seconded by Alderman, 6ilcox, City Manager Lee C. Black was authorized to accept the low bid of THE LONE STAR STEEL CO. OF DALLAS, TEXAS on the following pipe. 2400 Ft, of 12" Mechanical joint 12" C. L, pipe & $4.395 Per LF. The City Council voted to send a letter of protest to the Missouri Pacific Rail Road in regards to the discontinuance of service to the City of Georgetown.
