Georgetown, Texas,
September 10, 1956.
The City Council met on the above date, Mayor J. T. Atkin pre-
siding, the following were present; Aldermen: J. H. Compton,`Be K.
Fredericson, Ralph Freund, Kennie Wilcox, Tr., A. C. Woodfin;
City Manager Lee C. Black; Asst. Wgr, H. A. Partkin; Attorney
W. H. Nunn; Asessor-Collector C. S. Sanders; A. P. Pickle# chief
of police; M. L. Cates, secretary.
Minutes of the last regular session, and two called sessions "of the
Council were read, and on motion of Ald. Fredericson, seconded by
Ald. Toodfin were approved as read.
Manager Black his monthly report, and those reports of all the -city
officials, including bills to be paid in the amount of $488.16.
On motion of Ald. Toodfin, seconded by A1d.Fredericson, the reports
were received for filing, and accounts ordered paid.
After some discussion of the Georgetown 'dater situation of the city
and the ordinance regttibtigg the use of water, by sections, to
four days a week, it was decided to euspend;:'the restrictions by
the following Order:
Beginning Monday, September 17th, 19569 the Ordinance will be
suspended until further ordered by the City Council, Beginning Sept,
17th it will be lawful to use City Pater for sprinkling until City
Council directs otherwise. That the Mayor be directed to Issue
this order.
A motion was made by Ald. Compton; seeonded`�by Ald. Freund, that
the above order be issued. The motion carried unanimously.
There appearing no further business,m Ald, Woodfin mcved the Council
Adjourn and Ald, '1"ilcox seconded the motion, which passed,
